Fanpage is growing and we want to make sure we keep meeting the demands of our users. Over the past few months we have launched a ton of new features as well as streamlined some of our old ones to make it easier for our members to completely enjoy all the features available to them through the site.
For look and feel we have created a new header with tabbed sections to help you better find what you want and get to it easily. We will be rolling out a complete new look with better customization in the near future so keep a look out for that!
*NEW FEATURES*
Survival Football: Our pools section has grown and now includes a Survival Football game. The last man standing gets to take home a prize pool of up to $500. The aim is to pick a winning game each week of the NFL season and once you have picked a team you can't pick that team again. The process is simple, pick a winner and live to play another week, pick a losing game and you are done for the season..
This game can only be joined at the start of the NFL season.
Salary Cap Football: Salary Cap Football is another game added to our pools. In this game members have the chance to win weekly prizes and a shot at the grand
prize of a Nintendo Wii. The aim is to rack up as many fantasy points
as you can with a team made up each week of a total payroll of $110
million. You can try out a new team each week with the aim to get the
most possible points out of your team. You can join in this game at any
point in the NFL season.
Timeout on Fanpage: The Rate teams, Rate venues and Rate players sections have gone live so start voicing your opinions. Power rankings is in beta and will be ready for the start of the NBA season. This whole section is for the fans to have a voice and take part in rating everything sports, playing some sports related games and testing their knowledge with the sports quiz on fanpage.
Video Gallery: Video's of sports clips are a rage allover the net so fanpage has introduced a space where you can add your favorite videos from Youtube into our gallery. Videos can be added as favorites, rated and commented on. Its up to our members to expand the video gallery and create the best collection of sports videos on the net.
*FEATURES IN TRAINING*
Fantasy Sports: Our fantasy sports section is in its alpha stage and going to be going into beta soon. We are offering fully customizable private and puublic leagues in all 4 major league sports.
Customizable news feeds: Fanpage has been partnered with Stats LLC. in the past to provide news but we want to allow news to take advantage of all the great RSS feeds around the web and allow our members to customize their news page to whatever news they want to see. This feature will be coming soon where you can track players and teams and website feeds of your choice.
Picks Challenge: The picks challenge is going to be a new game on fanpage where members can make picks for every game on the schedule each night in the majors and risk points on predicting a win or a loss. The aim is to climb up the leaderboard with the most amount of points each day, week and month!
